Louise Mae Hoffman Goulash and Picking Pickles
Louise Hoffman was a interesting guest speaker. The stories that she shared with us was real. I have
seen people that still live in that state. No indoor plumbing etc... I thought that the guest was very interesting but
wish she talked more about how she wrote the book. How we may someday write our own book full of our stories.
Manga/Graphic Novels
Davvin Murray was our guest speaker on Japanese Magna. He was very informative on the topic. If i ever
want to know about the magna he is the guru.
Katy Beatty and John's Bookshelf
John's bookshelf is a wonderful idea that is being implemented in albuquerque at the children's hospital. The
test that is family went through and to give back such a important factor in education. I wish all of john's bookshelf all
the success. May they continue to inspire childrens and people to never stop reading or start reading.
Sendak Movie
This movie got me into rereading the wild things book written by sendak. this was my favortie book when i was in
elementary.
